I think economics is about to overwhelm politics.

It's gonna make for one hell of an ugly moment when that happens.

The economy is in a very poor shape. However, temporary stability
was achieved due to record amount of printing. What's next is
the question. We would go through a systemic collapse and
bankruptcy of the country if there was no monetary authority to
print vast amounts of money, and it could still happen.
Record debt with financial derivatives on top is a ticking, growing bomb.

However, the presence of the Fed makes things very complicated.
That includes the corruption, market manipulation, and cronyism
which always accompany any major money printing, as interests
that control the printing press always take advantage of
that control.

We are still going through bankruptcy of the country, but for now it
is happening via currency devaluation, rather than
a default.
