<There is every reason for a man who claims to be a member in good standing of a Church, who's central teaching claims that Jesus is God, to realize that If Jesus is a person, and Jesus is God, then God is a person.>

As I said... the Pope himself said (sorry... not looking up that link again) that the "Holy Trinity" is a mystery knowable only by devine revelation. So I'll leave that to you and the Pope... although it's obvious (look up Holy Trinity) that "God" is MUCH MORE THAN A PERSON even among the orthodoxy that deals with such things.

For the rest of the board the "Holy Trinity" pertains to the mystery that there is "God" (the father), "Jesus", and the "Holy Spirit".... all of which combine in a mysterious way to form the "ONE GOD". FWIW, even the Catholic Church teaches that when on earth Jesus (as person) was subject to all the normal things other people were... of course he's NOT here anymore (as person) and therefore (if you believe in Jesus) he is much more than a person... as he is still with us. :)
