GG, you mistook a simplistic example for people who have more than likely never touched wet concrete for guidance on how to make concrete: <.Because you humped around giant barrows of concrete in your youth obviously doesn't make you an expert of the mix ...wanting to slosh in a full pail of water to your formula was the clue. >

Various formulations of concrete were irrelevant to the discussion. Details on precision would just cloud the issue which was how much concrete is produced by a ship full of cement. The answer to the question was lots of concrete, but the cement wouldn't contribute to that volume. Yes, you can add the word significantly to be pedantic.

The aggregate is where the volume comes from.

Re swine flu aka H1N1, it's an 80% sure bet that the coughs we experienced were swine flu. If I could have had a vaccination against it, I'd have taken it. I've never had a flu vaccination. Flu normally barely touches me - maybe three relaxing days in bed then coming back to normal. 6 weeks of cough was not good. Real hacking phlegm filled cough and fluidized lungs.
