Semicon shows are the largest showcases in the industry. The Geneva is most relevant for Europe since this is where the German manufacturers, French, Italian (ie. SGS, Siemens, Bosch, etc) go to check out new technology, etc. Also it is quite popular with Swedish and Finish companies.

Next as far as I know is the Japan show and then the Korea show, both of them for the Asian markets. I guess it would depend on how the Asian markets compete with the European ones, but as far as I hear, the European markets should outrun the Asian ones in the short term, therefore I would suggest that Semi Geneva would be the most important of Cymer, IMHO.

Thanks for the information. Usually conferences are positive for the stock.

If the company is positive (should be), than the stock generally attracts attention.

EOM means End-Of-Message, so you know that's all and can skip reading it if you are viewing the chain of messages.
