As with everything else, they did not think this free ad campaign through.

They want to make FOX back off. They are theatening them to get them to do so. They can put a lot of pressure on Rupert Murdoch to make him do so.

Obama is a would-be Chavez/Castro when it comes to controlling the news.

That's emblematic of this administration. It's formed on the principle that we love our rhetoric so much we think the entire world will line up behind us because it's so wonderful. When they find out people see through them, they can't handle the truth.
