Evidently, Intel has no evidence at all.

How would you know? You're so used to AMD's crybaby antics of badmouthing in the press that you think that's the way companies should behave. You don't know adult behavior when you see it.

What you keep calling hearsay could (in US courts) in fact NOT be hearsay, if used to show the state of mind of the participants at the time rather than the truth of the matter at hand.

Another exception to the hearsay rule in the US for emails is that if presented to show conflicting statements (again rather than the "truth of the matter") they are not considered hearsay.

And when lots of these are mutually corroborative... Well, the phrase "pattern of conduct" comes to mind.

Again, note that Intel itself does not bring up a hearsay argument in its appeal.
