I feel completely vindicated after listening to that call. I would like to hear from the gentleman, I can't remember who, who was griping about the lack of progress on the switch deployment progress. Any residual concerns? This company is kicking derriere (excuse my French)! I couldn't keep myself from gleefully laughing as I listened to this call. Things have definitely been going their way, in a faster and bigger fashion than I ever expected (dreamed). One positive about this news at this time in this market...I think people will be looking for high-growth businesses that are DOMESTIC. WinStar has no international exposure. They don't worry about currency exchange rates. Even a downturn in the economy for an extended period (which I am not currently anticipating) might not impact them substantially. The growth in demand for bandwidth is not just going to evaporate. Also, if there were a downturn, people look for ways to save money and the last time I checked, WinStar's rates are highly competitive. The huge cost savings they will realize from a growing percentage of on-net customers, cheap switches, pt-mpt radios, lower roof rights costs, etc. will enable them to keep their rates competitive. I'm so happy I could cry. Go 'Star!

Steve, Vogel had gone with Montgomery Securities which was recently acquired by NationsBank. Was kind of wishing for another meltdown today to pick up some more options, although IMO it is a bargain at current prices. Glad to see that everyone seems just as excited as i was. However, we still must be patient. A few more quarters of increasing revs and falling losses will convince even the most reluctant.
