This pretty much explains the lagging, the dollar weakness eats into miners profits. Most of them are not in the US, and commodity currencies enjoyed spectacular rallies this year. More so than gold itself. That said, gold has its own 9-year cycle, and RSA miners seem to lead, the first bull move. csmonitor.com We are going into a manic cycle in gold, IMHO. We've seen the bottom of the cycle in 2008, and now we'll be up to something in the gold market like Nasdaq in 1995-1999 -g-
