Thanks for the news item. Of course, since this 4.50 per megabyte price is wholesale, we're talking quite a bit more at retail.

I was also surprised by the low write speed. 100K per second? That's pretty pokey. The read is much better, but that's not where the real action is in the type of applications for which one would use flash.
