Get serious! Hong Kong's undue influence on our martkets recently was an aberration. Do you honestly think a pop of a few hundred points in HK is going to exert much sway on our multi-trillion dollar economy?

The Hong Kong's market is really nothing. But if Hong Kong is stabilized, the symbolic
meaning is that China will fully support the exchange rate of Hong Kong currency and stock market. The exchange rate between Hong Kong currency and Chinese currency is fixed at
1.1 : 1 !!
