Gottfried, The price to earnings ratio on the hang seng is now an astronomical 9.7. This explains part of the panic involved.I would sell my entire portfolio too if the dow's pe was under 10. All sarcasm aside, humans are very strange creatures, aren't they? Frantic selling at the bottom, frenzied buying at the top. Things have dropped so far that we may see a replay of the lift off we had one year ago.I'm now hoping for a further 30% drop so we can all step up to the plate knowing with certainty that we are getting tremendous bargains and valuations will be corrected eventually.
