Russia´s oligarchs made a huge mistake. Tried to arm wist people to accept their terms when the only thing they have is oil and gas. Only option were the puppet Arabs and the Caucasus powder keg. Russians thought themselves reliable and anyone had to beat a track to Red Square and accept their terms. Terms which they would change at their own volition. That created a resolve for Europeans and Americans to find alternatives. Even if they pay more they would not bend to Russsia's oligarchs. Thus they are going to shale gas. This analysis below is stupid. No Chinese leader will wake up Monday morning thinking the world as a chessboard and would rearrange their pieces to confront the other countries' moves. They have other self interest to take care of.
