Sprint is teaming with Siemens on a phone to be co-marketed.

QCOM is teaming with Alcatel. (Hmmm Acatel, they never overlook buying a company)

Surprising to here a replacement of equipment?? That would be very significant and costily. AS I hear it Nortel and Lucent equipment is neck and neck in satisfaction. IF there was a switch it would be major news!!

Nortel, was always moving to that, so it's not that significant. They will buy chips more than likely from QCOM. I also heard that they will be making phones soon.

Motorola.......As much as I dislike them, I have over time repeatedly caustion they are NOT to be counted out. Glad to see they don't dissappoint.

Last night< I was talking to a guy who upgrade his phone to do data. This upgrade was for CDPD, which is analog. He is REALLY pissed!! Spent $500 and it doesn't deliver. Phone was a Motorola. I told him to take it back and tell them to make it work or give you back the money. Fail to do it, go to small claim court. This proceed for another guy to join the discussion. He had similar complaints using an Ericsson phone over CDPD. I told him the same thing. Take them to small claims court.

Ah, I love stirring the pot!!!
