Are you a JW Ron?
As far as "threatening my faith," Ron---I am an old man and was saved at the age of three. I live the good life of retirement in the "toolies"---unpaved road and all---the computer age is a fascinating one to me---but I barely get by, being novice on this thing---however, when it comes to my faith in God, I have a very traditional, denominational background.
In fact, when it comes to these new-fangled chorus' and worship teams not singing the hymns any more---kinda tells me that I am well past what this generation is all about. But I do read in the word that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
Rather than considering my approach as defensive, just hearing data tossed out without clarification or context of scripture, etc. puts up the 'ole red flag.
Mankind (or should I say "humankind") has four buttens: The red button, the yellow button, the green button, and the belly button.
Common sense tells us that (and it is that way in sales) that we should try and push the customers (consumer) green button. When I dated my wife, I did all I could to push her green button---and it worked! But now that we have been married all these decades, I am not nearly as careful and every once in awhile, I push her red button but good. Sooooooo---those of us on the thread (including you) have our own red button---and obviously I pushed yours as well since you said had gotten upset 'cuz someone asked you to quote scripture.
In any event, I wish you well.
And, incidentally, I certainly disagree re. about whom you say Jesus isn't. God? Wow. The Jews were ready to kill him on the spot, 'cuz they knew what he said concerning who he said he was.

Jack

>>Jesus was Temporal.<<

Whoa, Ron. Jesus IS ETERNAL!

He said "Before Abraham was born I AM"

You didn't get this idea from Him!
