Boy thats pretty weak. Course it only says "associated with" lack of insurance .... not caused by.

A freelance cameraman's appendix ruptured and by the time he was admitted to surgery, it was too late. A self-employed mother of two is found dead in bed from undiagnosed heart disease. A 26-year-old aspiring fashion designer collapsed in her bathroom after feeling unusually fatigued for days.

How do we know these folks wouldn't have died at the same time of the same cause if they'd had health policies? People with insurance die of those things all the time.

Its easy after the fact to guess that if they'd had an insurance policy they'd have gotten treatment or gone for it earlier, but would they really?
