Dec Q FY'97 Mean EPS FY'98 Mean EPS High est. Low est.

.23 1.06 1.15 1.35 .47

Long Term Growth Rate is 38% (next 5 yrs.).......Last 5 yrs. 128%.

These numbers change the valuation cited above considerably, however, the low estimates set the stage beautifully for earnings surprises and upgrades in coming quarters.

The earnings estimates for '98 are not correct. Ascend has a higher P/E than is perceived. It is going lower. I am not risk adverse, I just want bargins. If you wait, you will get them. Why rush the thing.
