Another China stock which is doing well this week, up for 4th day on a roll and opened with an UG today, is KNDI

The stock is still up today 17.38% at present with volume of > 1,096,600 about 50x its ADV in spite of lower revenues in the last 2Qs and lower earnings in the last 4Qs.<g>

But KNDI has NLTD and +CF around $0.33 and the short interest had increased 20% in the last month, and it announces today that it received a letter from the US Department of The Treasury notifying it that its low speed electric vehicle, the "COCO" convertible, has met the requirements of the Qualified Plug-in Electric Vehicle Credit as a Qualified Plug-in Electric Vehicle.<g>

The qualifying purchasers of COCO will receive a tax credit in the amount of $4,435. KNDI also announced that the KD08E has been determined by the Oklahoma Tax Commission to be a qualified electric vehicle for which purchasers can receive a tax credit amounting to 50% of the purchase cost.<g>

The ACTAY is $4.59 and it seems that with some better results in the pending 2Qs the stock could get to test the $4.30 level.

I don't read IBD, so I'm not aware of what stocks are there or not.

I am not talking about the paper, but about IBD's Daily Graphs On Line.<g>

If the stock chart is not followed there, I rather look for another choice.

Concerning the screening or scanning for stocks, if you come across any worth ones let us know. I suppose you do most of your scans or screening from a fundies basis, rather than from a technical or chart pattern. <g>

Besides YHOO,Smart Money, Microsoft Money, and several other screening tools, I like IBD's "Top Rated Stocks Under $10", which you can screen or scan on several values.I think it is good and not expensive.
Fidelity also has several screens from S&P, Zacks, and many others and you can modify the values and save the screens for future use if you like the results of the screen.<g>
The group of screens in AAII is also a good one, and there are several with good records.
The problem is that although I am now retired for more than 10 years, I don't usually have enough time for doing the screens, as there are many other things that I like better.<g>
