They refuse to deal with the naked shorting issue.

Instead they beat around the bush with all these other issues.

I thought Martha Stewart was a totally unnecessary deal. We taxpayers paid for her stay in a 5 * prison, she could have just been fined big time...Same with Mark Cuban. BS.

I don't condone the insider stuff, but as far as I'm concerned, my biggest losses over the last 10 years are due solely to naked shorters taking down perfectly decent small cap stocks (possibly to the point where the company goes out of biz because they can't raise cash, or, what's happened to me numerous times, they get forced down to a level where they are taken over at obscenely low prices. You can do a class action suit, sometimes that pays, but it never recovers the whole loss.)

There's no excuse for not prosecuting for naked shorting. It's documented, you can go back umpteen years and prosecute. Why the heck don't they do it? Cuz they'd get the FOB's or FOGS's (friends of bush or friends of goldman sachs, etc.), and those guys control everything in D.C.

Will we ever arm ourselves and go sit on the justice dept steps and demand "justice"? Doubt it, investors are a cowardly bunch.

These arrests are just scare tactics for all the other fund mgrs. Why don't they prosecute Jim Cramer, he admitted on TV that he used the phone to foment panic/mania in stocks he wanted to buy/sell in the 90's. They arrest people on Dr. Phil for admitting crimes... Oh, but those guys aren't well connected.

--those guys who have been doing things illegally, that includes naked short selling--

maybe he/his group are some of the shisters pounding on our favourite stock and the lid can now be pushed off a bit easier

we can always hope ;-0

one thing i CAN predict with certainty, the Colts will remain undefeated after this weekend!
