His latest is that, when he was a kid, if was perfectly FINE to call a black the n-word. Of course it was. As kids we had black maids. My dad employed 50 or so blacks. And I've heard them to refer to each other with the n-word many, many times. My dad would never have used the n-word like that, but it was not at all unusual for others to do so. I am the first to say that racism was rampant here in the 50s and 60s. I also think it gives those of us who lived at that time an understanding of it many others don't have. Which is why you and tejek apparently think your insidious racism is acceptable.
