Does Intel have to pay Sandisk royalties? Boy, is this confusing.

Intel is more interested in pushing for the PC-camera, i.e. they want to make sure that you use a PC for picture storage, manipulation, sending e-mail, blah blah blah. They don't like the idea of someone building a non-PC box to do the imaging. Technically, you don't need a PC to do imaging but the Andy Grove boys won't let you get away with that. Similarly, the Bill Gates boys and girls want you to use Windows and Microsoft Explorer when you're surfing the net. You also need Windows to play computer games. They are a bunch of smart crooks.

Intel is only helping Sandisk, not competing against.
