John, I have a buy order in for more CREAF this AM. The markets look to me to be opening strong. That fact that Hong Kong closed up almost 3% overnight despite the down day in the US yesterday to me was VERY important and is hopefully the signal that the turmoil in Asia may be subsiding. I am starting to trade some of my APM for CREAF and other stocks that may have a greater likelihood of going up this quarter (something I have not seen much of lately). I am quite worried about tax selling for losses in APM in December keeping the stock depressed but strong recovery of APM coming in January if its earnings meet the reduced estimates for the quarter.

BID on CREAF at 8:54 is 24 3/4, which is above its close. Looks like I will have to raise mine too to get any today. Should have held off one more day from buying two days ago at 25 3/8 but IMO we will close +1 or more today to get back part of what we have lost recently. Of course I could be wrong!

Edit: maybe I saw it wrong or it has changed but CREAF bid back at 24 3/8. I think I will put in a market order instead, although I usually don't do that. INTC, MSFT and COMS selling up 2 or more this AM.

Won't Henry Kloss be locked into Creative after the acquisition ?
Knowing Creative, they are likely to offer the best people some kind of options package.

Yes ... the Cambridge deal looks sweet. Personally, I'm still kicking myself for doing two weeks of research and not BUYing becoz the company owns a few retail shops ... I hate real estate. Why did I look ? Well, basically the company had the technology but no where near enough capital for where Creative wanted to go in the speaker business ... so an acquisition "looked" likely. Oh well.

Do you know anywhere I can find more info about Henry Kloss ?
