That was when Bush was a lame duck and they saw that Obama was gonna win. They know US History and Bush in his last months wasn't gonna do a thing and the new amateur Obama wouldn't either

This is bogus. When they did this they knew damned well he was in no position to do a damned thing about it.

If they had done it a couple years earlier you'd have an argument.

If you look at what was going on inside the UN during the earlier Bush administration you would be aware that they did, indeed, respect Bush.
