You also claim to be one who appreciates the meaning of words. I don't care how far right you are, the word, "treason," has a meaning just as "lie" has a meaning. Liberals may be wrong-headed but that's not the same thing as being traitors. That depends on the liberal. To be clear, I don't take the word lightly. But Jim McDermott? Traitor. David Bonior? Traitor. Mike Thompson? Traitor. These people provided aid and comfort to the enemy. Traitors. I honestly have no problem with the same designation for Harry Reid, who declared the Iraq War "lost" while we had soldiers fighting and dying there. Or Nancy Pelosi. These people are the worst America has to offer IMO. I intended no offense at your being middle of the road. There are many areas where I'm middle of the road, too. I just think it is necessary to fight the scourge of liberalism with strong conservative principles in some areas. Unfortunately, sometimes even conservatives don't hold to strong conservative principles, which really makes it difficult.
