With the uptick of the Hong Kong market today may be another great trading day.

I hope so. I dropped below my margin limit again.

Question: Does anyone have a feel for what may be happening with UGLY and INVN? They both reported earnings this week. They both took one-time charges against their earnings. Before the one-time charges, they both beat estimates, Ugly by $0.22 vs. $0.15e, Invn by $0.22 vs. $0.14e. After the charges, Ugly had a $0.10 loss, and Invn had a $0.15 gain. Ugly had a huge revenue increase over the previous year.

Both stocks plummeted yesterday. It seems to me that these earnings reports were pretty good, and confirm that these two companies are solid. So why did they fall so much more than the overall market did yesterday? And will they recover before I get my margin call notice? (Tuesday, I'm predicting.)

Thanks.
Doug.

Yeah,

I wish someone could of taught me CCing or stock investing back in my teens. Who knows? I might have been another Peter Lynch, Vinik or Zoros. :-)
