>> Then why do so many people not have health insurance in TX?

Heavily unionized states tend to have higher percentages of insureds versus right-to-work states.

It is no coincidence that heavily unionized states also tend to have higher unemployment.

The tradeoff is rather obvious and is something I've tried to explain to many of you months in regard to FDR's mishandling of the economy.

When the cost of hiring is high, you're going to have higher unemployment. Unions make the cost of hiring high.

It comes down to an simple question: Which would you rather have -- a job or health insurance?

Don't forget that Texas has the longest border with Mexico, supplying a glut of easily exploitable illegal aliens. I'll bet Texas has more illegals working than any other state, at the lowest possible pay!
