Report on Angola market post-fall from oil USD147.

The line of ships waiting to berth was miles long stretching into the sea. Today there is half a dozen ships waiting.

Building beside my office here: Cost USD3 to USD3.5K to build (here in Angola)

Property was on the market for USD10K/m2. Building construction now stopped construction (no photo. Fotothing tool not working)

Gazzilionic construction of hotels for CAN2010 (the African football cup) still going. That because anything related to prestige project CAN2010 has money to spend.

That money is lacking elsewhere as roads’ construction ground to a halt. Some roads are being left with the old tiny bridge. No money to build the bridge.

I can swear the traffic is less intense.
Went to Ilha for my Saturday Caipirinha: too little people on the bar!!

This Friday I will go to Chill out. Want to see if there is too many people in that night spot.
