Atin and all Is it advantageous to use Gateway technology to make phone to phone calls by using satellite rather than regular internet. We are thinking about setting up this system for International calls. But in the country we like to set the gateway up Internet connection is realy bad and only way to use this technology is to rent a satellite line. However renting a satellite line is very costly, will we have enough benefits to cover this costs?(increased utilization of bandwith?) What is the advantage of using gateways vs regular phone lines if we are to rent lines from a satellite ? Is there any company currently providing international calls by using gateway technology? If there is any, is it possible to test the quality of the calls? Thanks
