The USA taxes you on worldwide income. No matter where you live. There is an exclusion if you have earned income and live outside the US 330 days a year. If you renounce your citizenship any cap gains you have, unrealized till then, are taxable. If you have over $500k in assets you are deemed a tax flight and owe US taxes for the next 10 years.
