Westell Tech/Shelf -2: Proceeds For General Purposes

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--Westell Technologies Inc. (WSTL) filed a shelf registration for up to $300 million in debt securities.

In a filing Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said proceeds from the offering will be used for general purposes.

No underwriters were listed in the filing.

Based in Aurora, Ill., Westell develops, manufactures and markets telecommunications products
