"*THE PEOPLE......are the sleeping giant awakened by an inept Bush." So true. So many Americans don't even VOTE, thinking that the two parties are just different sides of the same coin. I used to think that. Then, Bush nearly threw the entire WORLD into a depression, AFTER spending like a drunken sailor and starting a dumbass, expensive foreign war by mistake! Americans realized they just couldn't leave the country on cruise control. Sure, the (D)'s suck. They fumble, often spend too much money, have perhaps too much compassion - but they are head and shoulders above the (R)'s. The (R)'s who have an wingnut ideology that always trumps common sense, seem to love corporations, the rich, wars and the military more than the common American citizen. On top of that, they spend as much as the (D)'s - on crap that doesn't benefit Americans, other than the wealthy.
