My sister sent me an article about the Book Festival from the Missoulian. There's a big pile of books on the spread, including "Bottom of the Sky." Another writer I hope to meet is Jack Nisbet. He wrote "Visible Bones" which is non-fiction Washington history vignettes. I actually called him and left a message, and he called me back. Then I started writing a letter to him. Now I will get to meet him and I'll take my book along. James Crumley is a featured author being celebrated at this festival. He's dead, though. I have a signed paper back of his, and it's great.
