Well, I scanned some of it, and didn't really find anything to get outraged about. Mostly, it seems to just update the language usage. It's not finished either. Since I'm not a Christian, I don't really have a dog in the hunt. I've tried to read the entire Bible several times and failed. It's really boring, especially the Old Testament. I've read all the New Testament, but it's pretty horrible too. I've also read a lot of the apocrypha and other texts rejected by the bible's editors, as well as some of the more recent discovered papyrus's.
