Jack - I'm a little confused by Intel ceding MSS to AMD. I don't understand why they're doing it. They have the product, process and capacity to successfully compete there. Don't understand this one.

Mr Tab, Re: "Seems like old times ... Amd low end champ and Intel top of the high end." Since AMD can't compete on the high end, AMD will continue to see their ASP's drop. Don't think they can hold their margins. Mahmoud

Once again I believe Amd has to lower it's break even and make the low end profitable in order to subsidize it's future high end offerings (bulldozer) through r&d dollars. Q4 may have potential." The only problem is that Mr Tab made this post about 1.5yrs ago ... How times have changed, but not changed. AMD is still desperately searching for BSDoozer. Mr Tab - You still believe in the "rosy glasses" scenario for AMD??!! Mahmoud
