Phoenix Copper starts major drilling program at Black Hill

proactiveinvestors.com.au

Phoenix Copper (ASX: PNX) has kicked off a major drilling program covering four of its primary projects in South Australia.

Drilling of the projects – Princess Royal, Mongalata, Spalding and Burra Central – is expected to take six months, with the program to include RAB, RC and diamond drilling.

A program of about 6,000m of Rotary Air Blast Drilling has been planned to test gold geochemical soil anomalies at the Black Hill Prospect in the Mongolata Project and copper anomalies at Spalding.

Two 200m deep diamond drill holes have been planned at Burra North, 800m north of the Monster Mine to test the strike extension of the mineralisation seen in the mine adjacent to and overlying a significant IP anomaly generated in the early 1960s.

Shares in the South Australian- based company were trading at 15.5c, an increase of 0.5c, or 3.3 per cent, from the last change.
