That's not the half of it.. There's a loaded 357 mag with laser sights in my desk drawer,a 12ga and a 270 w/scope under the guest room bed, a 12 ga and 20 ga on the sunroom sofa,and a few other pistols scattered around.. also a couple of boxes of 00 buckshot and slugs by the back door....and other ammo scattered around.Oh,and 1 real sword,and 1 rapier under the sofa in the den should it come to that... I am fairly typical here..My neighbor who maintains my grounds carries a loaded pistol at all times. I have a Lab who sleeps in the sunroom .She wouldn't bark or hurt anyone but maybe they would trip over her. I was burglarized twice a # of years ago ( and they came once when i was home),and i started taking precautions. My old Mom and Dad came out one night to check on things when i was out of town,and within 5 minutes of them turning on the lights,3 neighbors were coming up the driveway with loaded shotguns..Scared the old folks to death. And I have done the same for my neighbors.We are the best security system you can have. Regards,P1976 ps,the 12 ga in the sunroom is out in the open because it's dove season,normally it's behind the sofa cushion.The buckshot and slugs are 3 feet from it. You think TJ would like to have me for a neighbor in Hong Kong?
