That's good clarification. I stand very much corrected. I guess you need a blunderbuss to get more spread. <G>

But 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches allows a lot more margin of error than the 3/8" or so you get with a single bullet. But as you say, if you are mis-aimed, you are going to miss with either one.
