The biggest problem was it wasn't dark. It was in broad daylight, and we were all standing there looking around like little kids ready to snatch a cookie from the cookie jar making sure no one was looking. Fortunate for us, the beloved husband's grave was in the furthest reaches on the edge of the cemetery under a big old tree with limbs that hung real low. We still felt vulnerable and realized we could have been arrested, but it's what the old battle axe wanted, so being good kids.......that's what we did. battle axe............that is a word from the "old world" used a lot by Dad. ;)
