Good point. True that Taiwan has huge forex reserves (like HK), but Taiwan gov't did not support Taiwan $ and it took a 10% haircut. Korean won also weaker. Nothing like the 4 worst hit currencies you mentioned, in spite of ASEAN linkages.

See The Economist (last page, Emerging Market Indicators section) and Far Eastern Economic Review for recent currency changes. Bloomberg has good day to day data on currencies.
