I think it would be enlightening for him, as well, as sometimes putting things into words helps one to step back and realize exactly how early life affected them and see that change is important and necessary to put those things behind him and really celebrate the future. I have always enjoyed reading his stories and I think most would, coming about in first person, of all those stories he has stored in his mind. Do it Ish! You are a kind and super human being and have so much to contribute to all and maybe be a Godsend to many others that have struggled during their early years and understand for themselves how their lives compared to yours was and be relieved to be free of the abuse they suffered through. That is where "Confession is good for the Soul" comes into play, I think. You are still young enough to enjoy life to the hilt from here on out and never live in the past again, but live a "New day is dawning each day for the rest of your life". I know each of us wish you much happiness in your future and are sorry how the abuse affected you for so long. I have always heard that living well is a great way to avenge one's life and you have the means to do so, you said. BTW, I love happy endings, but not so naive to believe all do, but also believe, "Where there is a will there is a way to overcome all life's obstacles after they happen"... Hope you don't think I am preaching here, just sharing my thoughts in reaching out to you to not squander all the happiness you can while there is still time left to enjoy it, and which you rightly deserve.
