Bush gets some credit for listening to Paulson and Bernanke - what ELSE was he going to do? He's no friggin' economist. But, he also gets the BLAME for the whole economic collapse, that happened on HIS watch, like 9/11. Paulson just shoveled out money willy-nilly to his bankster buddies with no accountability whatsoever. Obama corrected that. I'd like to attend that Bush event, just so I could stand up and yell, "You LYING ASSHOLE, YOU RUINED OUR COUNTRY". I've got the miles to fly there free. I may do it!
