To anyone Newbie question, If I tranfer everything out of my account and write checks for any cash remaining can they still charge the 20 (ie will I have to write them a check ?) TIA

IMO Their plan for explosive growth apparently will use their customers as cannon fodder. Etrade has chosen to stay silent and not admit their shortcoming's this can only be interpreted as a policy of why worry about our existing customers' problems when we can replace them with our massive advertising campaign. This will only lead to them becoming the target of consumer advocacy forums with negative results in profits and stock value. I do not own Etrade stock at this time but plan to take a short position soon For what it is worth Ken M.
