I pondered moving, but if i do it will be to another country...

As the economy continues to worsen, burglaries and robberies will increase everywhere. Our,and everyones',hunting camp has been burglarized so many times that we've stopped locking it.They even stole all the copper wiring. We will re-wire with aluminum wiring and see if that works.

Periodic burglaries have been a way of life all over town for a # of years(especially Christmas time, need that extra Christmas money)..It has gotten much worse lately.

I didn't worry much until now some thieves started carrying assault rifles and wearing body armor.

Several years ago a neighbor down the road came home and caught them coming out of his house. They shot him with his shotgun they had just stolen. He survived.

A friend in a different town had 3 burglars break in on him.He yelled he was armed and when they still tried to come into the bedroom he shot one in the chest.the others left.

IMO,it will worsen everywhere.Look at the High School graduation rates for some scary numbers.33 % don't graduate from high School..That is a lot of folks with little chance to make a legitimate living.

""We've had five burglaries this week," Cole said. "And that was after three last week. All but one were during the day."
