How different your life would have been if your Dad and the Life guy hadn't procrastinated? Not sure I understand. They didn't procrastinate, they argued over which company, AP or Life, would own the film. Turned out Life ended up with it because, while my dad was on the payphone talking to NY about how much he could offer, Zapruder made a deal with Life. Really pissed my dad off because it was done behind his back. Turns out the AP would never have paid as much as Life did - more than 10 times as much. The government eventually confiscated it from Life.
