I've looked at stocks from both sides now...

Chris,

No, I won't break into a variation on "Both Sides Now"... Songs are the department of another fellow threadster whose territory I won't infringe upon.

In any case, you are entitled to your opinion and have given it. If others on the thread aren't willing to buy every story wholesale, they have the right to express their opinions as well. Furthermore, I don't think that I implied anywhere in my post that resource exploration isn't fraught with pitfalls and delays... because I, along with most others on this thread realize that fact... after all, I didn't just fall off of a turnip wagon or come out from under a cabbage leaf yesterday...

However, anyone who has played the explorations knows very well that this business isn't just about running around drilling holes and smashing at rocks with a little pick-axe. There is a whole other end of it that has to do with the market and its own peculiar aspects and activities... And it is this area that some people on this thread wish to discuss... with or without your participation.

And BTW, I don't wish to quarrel over minor points, but I see that you don't confine your own discussions to geology on other threads... so why do so here? I cite this recent example from another thread:

techstocks.com

Oh... and another thing... regarding this line:

<All of us realize the inherit risks in any of these exploration companies>

I believe you meant to use the word "inherent" ...the adjective meaning "established as an essential part of something"...or "intrinsic"...

I apologize in advance for this niggling point... but the Lady Croc greatly abhors the mutilation of the English language.

Good Day,
Crocodile

Good post chris and I agree with most of what you say.
Im not particularly keen on the VSE rules regarding options etc but those are the rules and one sees this option thing come up all the time. Alot of the companies involved in voiseys bay run right now have recently issued themselves stock options changed prices etc. etal
So singling WSP out in this regard is a bit of a red herring.
Now that investors etc are more aware of the practices maybe eventually the rules will be changed.
On a scale of all the companies involved on the vse I still feel wsp rates good. they havent been manipulating the market, they have been doing the work etc. The insiders havent been selling off stock etc like alot.
In my mind the campaign to trash WSP and management is out of proportion to the facts. Thats my opinion. Everyone is free to draw their own conclusions. From a geological point of view I can see why they tried to find a land based pipe first.
Unfortunately exploration takes time alot longer then most investors are willing to wait. I am frustrated that WSP has sunk so low in price with all it has going for it but dems the breaks.

Hi Chris....Re: Handy Randy.

I agree with you that R.T's slate is outstanding! But have you considered the fact that R.T. and Old MacDonald might be Front Men for someone else (Brown, Pez, B. Mc etc.). The bottom line is that The Geology is being shown slowly here and so far it looks great.
