O K ..let me state that guns aren't the problem, period. It's not the guns,it the PEOPLE.

Guns are a tool, and with strict gun laws there would still be the theft problem, except many of the thieves would still have guns and i wouldn't.

Switzerland must be the most heavily armed place in the world. All males keep their military rifles at home and other firearms are common.

"Gun politics in Switzerland are unique in Europe. The personal weapon of militia personnel is kept at home as part of the military obligations. This, in addition to liberal gun laws and strong shooting traditions, has led to a very high gun count per capita. Switzerland has one of the highest gun ownership rates in the world."

"Gun crime

Further information: Gun violence and Crime in Switzerland
Police statistics for the year 2006[13] records 34 killings or attempted killings involving firearms, compared to 69 cases involving bladed weapons and 16 cases of unarmed assault. Cases of assault resulting in bodily harm numbered 89 (firearms) and 526 (bladed weapons)."

Nope,compare the U S people with the Swiss,and Kiwi's,and you'll find your answer...you won't like it.
