It is, without a doubt, one of the finest cities in America.

Finest? Depends on how you define "finest". Most interesting for sure.

Although, for now, the high violent crime rate is a problem. A temporary condition until they get rid of the nitwit running the city.

New Orleans will always be violent. It's part of the character of the city.

Maybe you're just a little bit racist. Is it too "dark" for you in NOLA?

I said it was "wonderful", and it is. All of it. The great, good, bad and ugly. The incredible mix of different human cultures in such close proximity creates one of the most "human" places on earth. And they have the instinct to appreciate and celebrate that crazy diversity... almost every day.

I think it's remarkable that YOU like New Orleans.
