This isn't directed at you individually but anyone who thinks the banks are still good short candidates. For all I know you are going in just for a scalp here and that seems reasonable, but if it is more than that I'd have to say we just had one of the worst credit banking crisis the US has seen since the S&L fiasco in the 80s. That last banking crisis was 23-24 years before this last one.

Clearly the Fed and the WH is willing to risk $ supremacy to get us out from under this crisis. Do you really think you are going to win this battle against the Fed in nominal $ terms or are you expecting another 25 year event imminently?

Just food for thought.
