The current carry trade is not into buying US $$$, it is in borrowing them and selling them to buy something else. It is self perpetuating. The more people short $$$ in the carry trade, the more the dollar drops, and the more attractive it becomes for the trade.

Roubini is warning that everybody is in the same trade again ... shorting $$$. When everybody is in the same trade, there is a whole lot of instability??? Can't I just mention Housing '05 as an example of the world being into real estate and the dire results???
