outside of the fact that Palin is clearly much more fiscally conservative than the dems, i think the most appealing thing about her is that she has the appearance of being her own person. She doesn't seem to be another D.C. (or chicago) cutout. I believe that Palin's soul isn't for sale. Perhaps a bit naive of me, but I believe it.

I am much more of a secular person so I get a little worried when we get a leader who brings a fair amount of religiously based politics to the table, but at least with Palin we know what we are getting.
