Yep.. The issue is that if all mortgages are securitized... (shouldn't need to twist a bank's arm on that one).. we have a big problem brewing...

One thing I'm not clear on is the securitization process... My neighbour seems to think that the banks can only offload 90% of the mortgage value into the securities.. so retain some exposure.. (They still administer them I suppose ?).. I cannot verify that...
